fun fact, the transgender community is predominantly represented by the local racial mix. similar to gays. if the area is predominanty black and latino, then the transgender community will also be predominantly black and latino. it's not a problem of "sissification of white men," but probably more an issue of a growing acceptance of what used to be called "alternative lifestyles" and individuals feeling more comfortable not conforming to cultural, uh, binaries. that, plus the fact that transexualism is widely known about AS an alternative lifestyle and since so many people know about it and know it's generally more acceptable these days it's now a "viable" option. in the past people would have likely remained closeted and found probably sexual outlets for their frustration. these days people can act out in many, many different ways some more acceptable than others.

Umm.. I'm sorry to spoil the party, but you can't actually be born with XX chromosomes and a penis. It doesn't work that way. You can be born with XY chromosomes and no junk. (well it might happen if you have androgen insensitivity syndrome which is pretty rare) You require a Y chromosome to activate the Wolfian system during fetal development, which responds to androgens during growth, and trigger male sexual development. If you have a Y chromosome, this will happen unless you have an insensitivity to (male hormones) androgens, in which case you will not develop as a male. If you do not have a Y chromosome, then you will not produce levels of male hormone to make you develop into a male. Someone could be an XY (seeming) female, but you cannot be an XX male - there is no way you could have developed a penis at this point.
