A monk or a nun if they allow it.
A part of me feels like I just want to completely unplugged and lead a new life in isolation with a few others in a tranquil location.
A life filled with meditation and inner peace.
I have no idea why I desire this.

You wouldn't manage. There's something called scripture, and that requires something called intelligence to interpret, especially if you intend to ascend beyond the customary rote in order to understand its allegorical symbology.
And it's not something you'd manage easily. These monasteries are still quite serious about the kind of devotion they expect from their spiritual undertakers and, although they're not in the business of excommuniating anyone as such, you will be hazed appropriately the hint of your insuitability.
Just stick to vidya and being a shut-in or whatever it is you do.

To be a nun, you must be a "born a female".

In some cases the abbey you join will provide for your basic necessities, but in other cases you'll need to have enough saved to support yourself.
My guess its about $350 a year or less.

And that's not what monasticism is. Most monks are involved with the community and aren't just lazy meditating shut ins
