Minecraft which is a game that was started in 2009 has since been going strong making it into popular culture with references in a variety of media. There is no reason to assume that since the acquisition of Mojang by Microsoft this will cease anytime soon, but like all things, there is an end in the future. How might the popularity and success of this game end? A competitor rises to siege it's place? People and children will eventually get bored of it? Sells will take a dive? Or would Microsoft and/or Mojang just cease working on it?
