Since, as any schoolboy can tell you, in USAmerican table etiquette, the knife is held in one's left hand, and in USAmerican angling, the rod is held in one's left hand, should not also cars be driven on the left-hand lane of USAmerican roads? Shall we reform this lateral inconsistency?

we do it so when we pull up to the curb the women are able to get out onto the sidewalk safely. the way the foreigners do it just gets women killed. driving on the right is chauvinistic.

No, that's the strawman agenda attributed by liberals. This way they can instil a persecution complex in their target demographics such that they're recruitable.

Why did you cross the road?
Amuse me. I won't tell you if your answer is right or wrong.

If we reform the side upon which of the road one is allowed to drive one's care, then, naturally, it follows that, for the reason you stated, we must also reform the side of the car upon which the driver, whilst driving, is seated. Just as, for example, whilst enjoying USAmerican cuisine, one holds the fork in one's right hand, and whilst fishing in the USAmerican style, one rotates the reel's handle with one's right hand, so the driver of a car in the leftmost lane must be positioned in the rightmost seat. It's that simple. Thanks.

yeah, they have to drive on the wrong side of the road to keep from killing women. that's not a long term solution.

The Saudis have got some things right. The roads are safe because women aren't allowed to drive.

Solid point but you neglect to consider that the driver's seat in America is on the left side, which confirms the left pattern while making it necessary to drive on the right side of the road

There is, in actual fact, a left-right pattern, as I explained in @634,922 (A). It is this to which I am alluding. Thanks.

It was an aphoristic punchline. You, namely your narcissism (in the hope you'd respond something self-centric and pseudo-profound, like it was a barrier or something), were it.
