You'll either end up A) waiting in a lobby by yourself due to a lack of interest in mission, B) end up waiting with one or two people on the final person to join which may never join due to lack of interest, or C) be kicked from the queue.
At this point it seems like you'll either have to work with a crew or just forego the missions.
Damn, I really needed the money to so I could buy all new cars and clothing for my character. Because it seems like most Rockstar updates are just bait for Sharkcards.

Heists are just a trivial distraction. The real goal is getting your character nice clothes.
I know this. Because once I got my character a nice black suit and tie, as well as alternate getup like a comicbook merenary, nothing else mattered. Having a nicely dressed character is the endgame. Heists are just one possible way to finance that.

What about your cars though? I know I used a lot of money I've made on car updates as well as clothing.
Unfortunately, why do all female characters look like TRANNIES!!!
Not that I mind, but when every female character, including my own, minus a few look like they are transsexuals it ruins shit for me.
I embrace ambiguity and gender fluency though. Makes it fun to stick a bullet in the closest head after the phrase, "You look like a tranny!" is uttered.
