I mean, really, you had such a brilliant set-up! Some were inherently annoyed by Toni being trans, others actually believed the character was real!
The whole thing had the potential to cause so much more drama and strife, but you just pissed it all away because you couldn't resist defending your own unsavoury past actions. What a screw-up.
