i think my brother got a roccat mechanical keyboard last year for christmas and he's been happy with the quality. i don't know anything about their mice. the guy at microcenter (if he can be trusted to know his merchandise) put the cheaper roccat products well above Razer and even steel series (at least keyboards). tbh, the "fancier" or more "gamerz style" the product has the more likely it was made by a marketing dept than competent designers. roccat stuff looks (last year at least) pretty utilitarian and doesn't suffer from Mt.Dew and Doritos design syndrome. i wouldn't be afraid to try a roccat mouse.

update i bought it and it has driver issues with windows 10 apparently and barely works on it as a result
