The church nearby always used to have fun sayings on the sign outside. "Come in for a faith lift" was popular, but it would get weird some weeks. "His blood's for you" was popular during the "This Bud's for you" advertising campaign. The strangest message I recall was "The strongest position is on your knees." :\

I've always wondered why they say the lord is my shepard, and call themselves his flock, etc. The shepard only protects the sheep because he fucking eats them to survive. Or he butchers them and sells their meat for cash. Sure, he takes their fleece as well. Maybe that is the reference; "The Lord is my Shepard because he takes my wool before he butchers me for profit, and for that I'm thankful"
