It's sad that the boy got killed, but damn, that is one fine looking hoverboard! I wonder how high off the ground it can go. And the comments, I reckon only the most enlightened minds of the scientific community read this article!

Current hoverboards on the market are similar to segways. They just hug the ground.

Does not work on ordinary road surfaces. Might be able to hover over a rail way rail. If you try it look out for trains.
