Topic: r04r, is it still safe to pirate Windows 7?

Catherine !TGirlYJKXM started this discussion 10 years ago #48,228

I know you said that Windows 8, 8.1, and 10 are impossible to pirate, but 7 is still good, right?
Or did Microsoft release a new security update that makes it tougher?

How exactly would it be unsafe? As I understand, illegitimate copies of Windows function normally, they just nag about not having a license and you're only allowed to install the updates marked critical.

I just installed 7 a few months ago through illegitimate means and everything went swell; I don't see why it wouldn't be safe. Try it and find out. What's the worst that could happen?

I was just told that 7 was the last piratable operating system by Microsoft.
I am just wondering if this still rings true.

Why not just buy a copy for like $40?

Is Windows 7 really that cheap now?
I thought Microsoft still likes to charge you over a hundred for an operating system over six years old.

I've used Daz Loader quite a lot of times to crack Windows 7 with success (and still be able to install updates and everything), but the last time was one or two years ago. I don't know if it still works perfectly.

If not I RemoveWAT still works which I'm willing to upload if needed. I also have a registry key fix for backup but only for 32 bit. I'll have to make one for x64.

Pirating any OS is silly.

But surely it is madness to try to use a computer without an OS.

That is the party line.

The real reason is that it is not worth charging for. Thanks.

Your phone uses Linux. Your (smart) TV uses Linux. Your router uses Linux.

Those are much simpler applications of it. It cannot really keep up when used with a PC.

Please stop that. I am trying to troll you here. I would appreciate it if you became annoyed at my obtuse outlook on Linux. Thank you.

Your power level is too low to ban me. But nice try.
