Some god damn fungus is threatening to spread and destroy all of the bananas except for the shitty ones. This has happened before, leading to the end of the Big Mike variety as the top banana for farming. The replacement, the Cavendish, is holding on but if that fuckin' fungus gets to the Americas, we may be eating shit for bananas for some time to come.

Lots of types of bananas. Few hours North of me in Santa Barbara area they grow lots of more better types and they come in colours like blue and red. That fungus no bothers them.
Honestly very tasty and u wood never want to eat the current store kind again.

Bananas are the only fruit I enjoy while drinking coffee. But I can't enjoy Dole bananas because the banned chemical sprays they use make people sterile.
