Severe panic attack, my heart rate was off the charts, couldnt speak, thought I was going to die, couldn't stand without falling, could barely breathe. I didnt think I needed emergency attention but the nurses insisted that I go. They gave me fast acting benzos and high strength painkillers to calm me down and then took me back to a quiet room and started asking me things about my childhood.

Do you know what triggered the panic attack?

Not really. I had one that was about half as bad a couple weeks ago, and another really bad one a week before that. I guess it was all building up to a huge eruption.
I threw up all up and down the street on my way to the hospital, so if anyone on their way to work this morning ran into a trail of barf, that was me.

My psych is so stupid, she gave me Vistaril for panic attacks and is keeping me on klonopin. Seriously, some day my central nervous system is just gonna be like, Kay I'm too depressed, lates! And I'm going to die. At least it feels good
