Reminder that if we had left Saddam in power there would be no ISIS, 4,500 more Americans would be alive today, and the country would be several trillion dollars richer.

So were Tutsis in Rwanda but for some reason we didn't feel the need to go to war over it. Keep in mind we're talking near-Holocaust level genocide. But when some tiny oil country like Kuwait gets invaded we drop everything and go to war.

Saddam was a brutal dictator but that is something the Iraqi people have to work out. So was the king of Saudi Arabia (Americas second gratest ally) but when he died, Obama, Cameron, and the rest of the Western world fell over themselves to express their condolences and fellate his memory. The Middle East doesn't seem to be heading towards apple pie and democracy anytime soon, no matter how many bombs we drop on it.

Fair enough, I don't follow it too closely for a similar reason.
