Amazing. I'd been hearing about the group on CNN, NPR, NYT, and the BBC for years now and I had assumed, based on the deference and credibility it was given that it was a large NGO like Amnesty. But it's one guy, Rami Abdulrahman, who runs a clothes shop in Coventry and calls people in Syria to check up on human rights there.
Of course this doesn't mean Rami's a fraud or the SOHR isn't for real, but it does seem kinda odd that a guy with a clothing shop wields such influence on Syria reporting.

Betting he is not a fraud. Lives in an ok hood in UK. Owns two dress shops.
All it takes is just one guy to make a difference.
