The weirdest thing just happened on iceland. A feminist within a feminist woman's shelter made a whole spectacle.
She wrote a article where she confessed dealing with misandry and compared her misandry to "muslim-phobia".
Then she said that the way she dealt with it was to remind herself that most men are good and the bad men she hears so much about in the shelter are not representatives of males.
This sounds too good to be true that I am almost paranoid about, wondering if it there isn't somekind of a cryptic misandry there.

I am reminded of Marshall McLuhan's idea of the tetrad:
McLuhan designed the tetrad as a pedagogical tool, phrasing his laws as questions with which to consider any medium:
1.What does the medium enhance?
2.What does the medium make obsolete?
3.What does the medium retrieve that had been obsolesced earlier?
4.What does the medium flip into when pushed to extremes?
The laws of the tetrad exist simultaneously, not successively or chronologically, and allow the questioner to explore the "grammar and syntax" of the "language" of media. McLuhan departs from his mentor Harold Innis in suggesting that a medium "overheats", or reverses into an opposing form, when taken to its extreme.
Now, let's generalize the medium to be any framework of discourse, in this case feminism.

Oh, some fella talked a lot of wacky academic stuff about media and came up with the term "global village" along the way. One thing in his writings was a way to look at a medium (print, or radio, or television, or whatever) in terms of the set of four questions, a tetrad. The interesting thing is the part where it flips into something opposite, reminding me of Lenz's law in physics: By Lenz's law, an eddy current creates a magnetic field that opposes the magnetic field that created it, and thus eddy currents react back on the source of the magnetic field.
