kinda believe in the oligarchy, but i think it's more opportunistic than necessarily agenda driven if that makes any sense. basically a bunch of powerful people with money all trying to pull at the wheel and our direction is the net result of their actions. but also that more and more campaign finance money coming from corporations and blah blah blah is ultimately making it worse. kinda to the point where we're actually directionless and just going in circles so the ultra-wealthy can scrape the bottom some more.
