I should have mentioned that the Simi wine line, is by California standards a large big (quasi-industrial) but not that huge in production, 250,000+ cases.
At the winery they serve a very good Riesling wine in a chocolate cup. Nothing else to cheer about unless one goes to the winery for the reserve's, that prove they could if they wanted to, make a truly great product. Truly a joy to see, the property that is.
