Can't say I've ever done it personally, although quote a few friends of mine have started doing it. I'd say the closest I've done to this is abusing getting freebies from companies/promotional websites and spending countless hours on eBay bidding on items for $0.01 with free shipping. The eBay thong was nice because I would usually get more than 500 items for $5 or less. Sellers from China would just start giving me handfuls of items such as screen protectors and wrist straps after seeing how much of their listings I bid on.
