I suppose that's nice, in a quaint sort of way. But I really don't care about the Cornish language, myself. It's competely dead in everyday life.
And I really think it's going too far to introduce it as a greeting in public services. It's basically dead language. Very few people are going to understand it. I just see no real reasons to try and "revive" it on the scale they're suggesting.

I think it's pretty cool. I would love to be greeted in an ancient language. Even if it's not going to be spoken by the entire world, keeping the old languages alive should at least be encouraged as a hobby.
Or... maybe the ancient Celtic dialect is destined to be spoken worldwide. Did you ever think of that KL? Maybe the language is just biding its time... waiting... waiting for the Cornish Empire to break like a wave over human history.

It's already kept alive as a hobby. There's even societies about it so there's very much already movements encouraging it. I just don't see much reason for a full-blown revival beyond "strengthening Cornish identity" which isn't really a line of thought I buy into.
As for a resurgent Cornish Empire, I suppose it is possible. The pasty is loved throughout the world, and is perhaps the greatest demonstration of soft power today.
