Mojang has finally made boats in the PC version of the game match boats from the Pocket and Windows 10 Editions of the game. Boats are officially rowboats and apparently they have also added wings to the game!When I first saw wings in SethBling's video for a recent 1.9 snapshot I thought it was merely more redstone command trickery, but it is actually an item into the game called, "Elytra".
Rowboats work exactly as I expected them to. On Pocket/Win10 Edition of the game you have two button on the screen which controls each oar. Press both together to go straight. On the PC it works very much the same way except it's the A and D keys that control the oars.

Now please fix the texture so that the boats don't look like they sprung a leak everytime.
