For the uninitiated, Feminist Frequency is a charming fusion of TV Tropes and Let's Play produced by Jonathan McIntosh. Mr. McIntosh makes a point of incorporating viewer feedback into subsequent productions and is quick to address any challenges or concerns raised by the audience. The producer has stated that "trust is paramount in any non-profit", and has pledged to donate any proceeds gained from the series in the interest of underprivileged girls overseas. He also champions his spartan lifestyle as a form of protest against global capitalism, and refuses "even a penny for [himself]" when offered speaking fees for his lectures on self-actuation and personal accountability.
The producer of Feminist Frequency is also notable for extending offers to publicly debate critics and financially compensate their time and expenses, claiming "the onus is on the rich to publicize opposing views, as the wedge of inequality is driven by censorship."
