Okay so I acquired thrush through sex and it caused massive swelling of the foreskin. I had sex a couple times during that which caused sharp stabbing pains and caused the skin to split on the foreskin where it was swollen. The splits healed but left a ring of tissue just below the tip of the foreskin which isn't very elastic, so now I have phimosis (cannot roll back foreskin) which is a common side effect of penile thrush. The corticosteroids I was prescribed are going to relax the skin and allow me to withdraw it once again.

Jesus christ, what if the cream doesn't really work? Skin conditions are notorious for never really clearing up. Good luck, and I'd be interested in a 6 month update and hope something has improved by then
