During a life or death situation a hero always makes a wise crack or a joke? They could die at any minute yet they are acting as if they are having fun. Even if the hero cannot die, say Thor or Superman, and even if they are killing machines or extraterrestrials. They are still committing murder and yet they act like it's a joyus time. The Avengers (or Avengers Assemble for those in the U.K.) is also guilty of this except for Bruce Banner who actually shows remorse for what the big green guy does.

I personally do not very much care. I was just wondering why this was the case after my brother told me about his dislike of movie tropes. He says even if the movie is about immortal gods then they should still feel some tension from the intense scene that is occurring. His favorite director is Ridley Scott.
