What different animals did you place against your cheek? Most animals will feel soft and warm because they have fur, feathers, and a higher body temperature. However, maybe you put a lizard against your face but why bother as those fuckers are room temperature.

Once just once in my Ocean a Blue (Santa Monica beach) Dove in2 a wave and my face hit dead center a Sea Lion face and we both came up and looked at each other in shock.
Pressure of wave kept us locked tight under water until we surfaced.

Damn - I keep trying my best to get close to them. Almost no day in my Ocean a Blue Surfing goes by without lots of dolphins very close or even surrounding us.
Never thought about a possible bite if I am successful touching one - I swear when I try they just laff at me
That run in with Sea Lion - was end of beach party season in October and I was married back then so it was my wife and friends and I was the only one to go in2 water and I new it was limited re water was getting cold. Was just going in and coming back out to end the season - But with that run in - I stayed with the Sea Lion as long as I could - about 20 minutes - It wood get real close to me and stayed parallel with me all that time- I wood slowly reach out with arm/hand in attempt to make contact and it wood stay just a few inches away no matter how often I tried - Was NOT about to push it just for contact cause I am not that kinda person - Now me thinks if I had that critter wood have bitten me. I said goodbye n thanks and swam back in - Friends were all at waters edge watching this and just to bad no one had a camera.
I have several other animal contact stories told many times - Mountain Lion along side me with no clue for 6 hours at night - and one Rattle Snake I stuck my nose within 2 inches with no clue and felt dumb as fuck and just lucky - Waz coiled and it was so huge and black and I thought it was a mountain grouse - and was even warned there was a snake in the brush -

@previous (Meowth)Oh for sure. During summer the cove produces park concerts - Usually I am there for big band/swing band and blues events. Parking above and walking down past as in pic - It requires a wish for scuba gear breathing mask n tanks.
Cannot imagine eating at any of the restaurants across the street.

My brother was working at George's for the past couple years or so until recently his friend opened up a taco shop just down the street. Restaurant taco shop, not like Porkyland (even though best tortillas in SD aside from Old Town). I'd love to check out some of those events sometime. The other night I went to some afro Cuban jazz performance. There was this pretty cute girl who kept staring and smiling at me. Not the point. She had a really nice guitar and her solo brought a literal tear to my eye. I'll stalk her later to ask her out.
