Don't listen to any of that bullshit.
Genders are clearly defined by natural law. We all instinctively know what genders are. Sometimes they will parrot what they have heard from the like minded people in their "safe spaces" and think that somehow their opinions matter more, or that their thoughts are more correct. This is wrong, and intolerant, and a weird thing to try and be the thought police about.
"Gender is fluid and undefined and herpa derpa derp etc" "sex is not biological or chromosomes because outlier genetic disorders etc" "my liberal arts college ignores science and religion etc"
These opinions are just that, opinions. It is these same people that believe they have the right to wave a rainbow flag, but another person has no right to wave a confederate one. They think that they should be protected from differing opinions and ideas, and telling them you don't agree with them is a "micro aggression" because at some point they were told and falsely believe that being offended is the same as being harmed.

I disagree; gender (male, female, apache helicopter) is a concept thought up by society. A person's sex (based on their genes) is defined by natural law, though. Despite being related, the two are not synonymous.
