I caved and decided to get this game along with the season pass for the DLC packs. Probably going to get the game for PC too. The gameplay is most certainly different compared to past games and all they really added where rest holds as well as limited reversals. I never realized how much heat (damage) you have to take without infinite reversals. You most certainly have to fight smarter to conserve your reversals. Plus they brought back the creation suite. SvR was still a good game. This includes SvR06 and SvR07. The worst years were actually SvR08 and SvR09. Then it started getting better with SvR10 and SvR11. Then WWE changed the name for WWE '12, alright. WWE '13 was great. Then when THQ died 2K picked it up and WWE2K14 was also good. WWE 2K15 lacked severely for current-gen consoles, but the gameplay enhancements were absolutely fun as shit for matches. But WWE 2K16 right now is definitely better than last year.
Here Comes the Pain was also a great end for it's own line of games. Shut Your Mouth, the one prior, was also good. The only thing that sucks about these games after playing the newer ones is that the game speed was just way too fast to the point where it was merely a fighting title. The thing 2K is doing right with the franchise is that they are giving it the little details of an actual match. I mean, they are in the business of sports games (NBA) so it's no surprises, but seeing the guys (and girls, decent divas roster this year) actually sell the movies and seeing them getting up slowly from taking too much damage makes it fun to play and watch.
Plus the first SvR game they didn't really slowed the speed down beyond much since it's still fast compared to the newer games, but for a wrestling game that is suppose to be about wrestling, it makes the whole thing worth it.

I know THQ had Stone Cold Steve Austin as a pre-order gift for one of their WWE games and they later released it on the console store.
But this is 2K. I know last year Sting was a pre-order incentive, but I ended up getting him with the rest of the DLC.
I really wouldn't mind checking out how they captured The Terminator.
You get two versions of him and his entrance looks bad ass.

Yes and no, they did for some of the later games, but most of the 2K games they only have a specific soundtrack.
That's the thing with this series, they always take away to re-introduce later. It's dumb and I do not completely understand the marketing behind it.

I played more than that, but yes, the money invested over the time span of my life essentially would add up to a lot.
