Could be either. I feel psychic and magical quite a bit, but i am aware that i'm likely insane and delusional.
When you pick up on things, using the usual human social skills, it can seem magic sonetimes.
Another thing i think is that humans are just slightly psychic an magical. We have the ability to see the future, we can feel others' enotions.

I think people are good at remembering the "hits" and forgetting the "misses" when it comes to pretty much anything. Even people who don't claim to be psychic tend to remember past events in a way that confirms the idea that they knew what was going to happen all along. Certainly, there are a lot of charlatans out there that will tell you all kinds of things to gain money, admiration, or even the slightest bit of attention. There are also a lot of people who genuinely don't notice doing this in their own life and truly believe that their selective remembering is actually precognition.

Surrounded by only sycophants, anyone's apt to get pretty weird. Today it mostly affects celebrities, but princes, emperors, kings, and rulers of all titles have historically fallen victim to that kind of thinking. I think the most interesting ones are the ones that manage to remain sane in the face of it all.
