The strangest tumblr porn page i ever found was a some sort of a weird fantasy that had all the male masochist elements, it made no sense and I questioned the sanity of whoever made it. He deliberately photoshoped every picture to fit inside his whole twisted sexual fantasy

That's a great question. The reason is that, sure, maybe there are other apps for sites like xhamster and xvideos etc... Maybe those apps make them slightly better. But in the end those apps are only there as a way to polish a turd.

The key word here is convenience. Other porn sites don't fully understand the benefits of users collecting their favorites. It's as if their goal is to create a community where friends can show each other their favorites, but the best part of users collecting is that they function as human search engines, they filter the bad from the good 100% better and this is what tumblr knows how to maximize. Other porn sites offer the same but they offer it in a bad way that is a lot worse.

For example on tumblr, you can see everyone who liked a picture and chances are that if you liked the picture as well, then everyone who liked it may have large "like" collections that you will also like.
But on xhamster or xvideos, you can only guess that the few people who commented also liked the video. Even then, the collections there are not fully accessible, unlike on tumblr.
