what, like traditionally or like modern day? traditionally it would have been lots of squash, deer, and buffalo along with some grains and other stuff. fish and shit. you know?
nowadays just go to any grocery store. the last time i was in pawhuska about the only thing different about the grocery store there is that they had all the produce labeled in the phonetic script they call the osage language. that's about it.

Remember that time JoeDDM said that white people had never invented any good food ever and that all food except for saltine crackers was stolen from PoC.
I bet he thinks corn on the cob is "problematic".

In the EUKingdom popsicles are known as cold on the cob and considered unproblematic

As a hobby I used to study the Indians that occupied Los Angeles & Ventura County.
For some unknown reason Indians on the coast did not eat shellfish for the first 5000 years or so. So seeds and acorns. All over the hillsides/mountain sides grinding stones can still be found in place.
Out of curiosity I went to great trouble to grind acorns - Not that difficult but the meal is loaded with tannins so it takes a great deal of washing in water over n over until the meal is ready to turn to mush or fry on a rock (I used a griddle) but it ends up so very very BLAND.
They might have added some berries that are very edible yet sour - Deer and small animals - One thing they had a lot of was Abalone which is now extant here in California -

Abalone are not extinct in California. Listed as endangered.
Its still available but can only be harvested by skin diving. No Scuba equipment is allowed.
There are commercial Abalone farms that produce super small ones for sale.
