voting should just remain free and require no kind of voter card or anything. "voter fraud," which is what these measures claim to be trying to prevent accounts for a fraction of a fraction of a fraction of votes in an election. they have zero impact. but, requiring voting cards would literally prevent millions upon million of people from having the credentials to vote. thus, having an actual impact on elections. and the people who would be disenfranchised: the poor, the elderly, and students actually (out of state voters without paperwork like birth certificates handy.)

voter ID would stop a problem that doesn't actually exist or impact anything at all, and instead prevent a multitude from exercising their rights and end up interfering more with the election process than "voter fraud."

the whole thing is just a fucking joke. and pretty much a racist and classist one at that.
