Topic: The difference between Hong Kong and USAmerica.

Anonymous A started this discussion 11 years ago #46,743

Hong Kong fast food: professional people in suits politely and quietly take your order. They return with delicious Chinese food, which even though it is fast food, looks beautiful and tastes great.

USAmerica fast food: an angry, 400 pound black woman in tattered clothing sullenly takes your order, then gives you a bunch of mal-presented greasy crap.

Vale fast food: everybody gets overly-large servings of noodles. The only exceptions are cat faunus who can enjoy fish instead.

wait fuck those are noodles tbh

i am not even talking about any subjective part (yet). it is just technically inferior to the typical modern video game, and it is not even rendered in real time. there's aliasing!!

Yes, RWBY's technical flaws are well-documented. Hardly an episode goes by without people picking up on mistakes or shortcuts.

But I don't really have an eye for that stuff, so it doesn't bother me or impede my enjoyment of the show.

Not even mistakes though. During the initial conception some producer must have gone like 'i want this to look like a playstation 2 game as much as possible'.

I'm sorry, but I don't really know where you're coming from. I don't pay close attention to those details, it looks fine to me.

And apparently it doesn't bother other people too much either, given RWBY's rather considerable success.

Matthew, how is this different from an American McDonalds? Apart from the ethnicity of the workers (of course you are a racist, from backwoods Loserana), this could be the one in my local Walmart.

Is it, or is it not, Hong Kong fast food?

Anonymous G replied with this 11 years ago, 1 minute later, 2 hours after the original post[^] [v] #615,769

It is not. It is American fastfood with a branch in Hong Kong. Thanks.

:D do you feel American in there? There really is nothing more American than the McDonalds inside of Walmart. Walmart is the temple and McDonald's is the holy of holies.

Damlol. I could picture matt making up fake ratings for his food pamphlet, like Firestone stars or Goodyear stars.

Hong Kong is so bad, the British gave it away. I mean this is a country that will send out battleships and soldiers to protect the sovereignty of the Falklands. But when China asked for Hong Kong they were like "idc lol whatever".
