Adding further re not retired. I launch and later fix Satellites in space. System Consult now for a huge constellation of LEO's for a Cell system in Space. 52 way back in 98-99 and they are getting real old now. Last Oct 19 Russia put up 6 new and improved Satellites for me. I used to use Delta 4s but now NASA is out of such business. So we give Russia the Billions necessary to get maybe 52 up. So I keep them working and such is NOT easy. I also fix MEO's and GEO's like Direct TV and others/

Today not on net re a death of a journalist and crew and need for a quick fast fix for CNN and others many others to get unplanned uplink access. So a very poorly working old GEO is now back in service before more of it frys and it was just parked for eventual crash to earth as helped by NORAD - THEY B the only way when it comes to equipment to track a falling object. Even Russia uses NORAD which is truly a turn of events. Russia recently smashed and crashed into my competitors Satellite and makes for mass of destructive junk that on the last space shuttle came close to as bullets and scared the shit out of everyone. Russian Satellite was a dead duck on first night in Space, and it was supposed to be a SPY Satellite. NORAD???

No clue on that one.

I worked just for a few minutes on his first film for MCA as a side line re my Engineering skills - A TV movie the CEO decided should be a major release AFTER THE Expensive Tractor Trailer was run off of a mountain for real - ME? I rigged up a way for the tractor to come rite on down on camera lens and and jerked out the film canister by remote control - timing is everything with one take allowed. Oh that camera was leased from Panasonic, nor would they sell me one for that take- Panasonic not happy re loss, Studio not happy re no insurance to cover on purpose ruin. Exactly and I considered saying all that but given its so old re history I just self edited to Airforce. He was stationed in Sacramento. Yanked out of Cal Tech in Pasadena - only good story I remember re him teaching how to use Bomb Sites on some Bxx maybe 17? I need to look up image and I will remember - it did not look like a sexy kind of bomber to me as kiddlet.

One of his students needed a tutor on Algebra and Geometry (Jimmy Stuart) and I think that is the only story re him and war I remember.

I had accepted outside consulting assignment to help San Quentin Prison re need for electronics and did a research project which was later paid for my MCA and to test out my math on the design I took some equipment to the San Francisco BART under construction. At the same time I watched but did not meet a young student making a SI FI movie using the BART tunnel - So later to my surprise to meet Lucas as student in the class with the finished student film THX 1138 was more then cool. Could be Norden, he never said of course. I bought a Norden to play with. Major loaded with all kinds of gears and optics. Very cool toy. The best toys I got surplus of course were the things to build receivers and transmitters from or of. For ham radio.

The most cool of toys was a Jet plane donated to a park near by- fully loaded with stuff - much stripped out of course like no guided missal's but I found a Gyro. Took me a while to figure out how to power UP...Needed 400 HZ instead of 60
Put in a suitcase and took to school and just left it sitting in a hall way. People come along and look and then someone picks it up. Gyro was about 8-15 static pounds of Inertia and enough dynamic Inertia to grab and hold anyone - even foot ball hero's found it near impossible to pick up and walk a bit with it. Great for laffs until some gal hurt her arm trying.

One advantage of being older among so many who have EE degrees of recent date. In a room filled with 1100 engineers at a Company conference, not a single one had a clue how to explain just the basic principles of how an Antenna works. PhD's and maybe 150 in that room and no clue- I ended up doing impromptu lecture. In walks the founder of the company, who used to be my University Professor. Leo imagine that - Professor in communications goes on to found company that is CDMA to world and he now has given away many many Billions of $$$$$ with many more Billion to go. So of course he does know albeit he probably has never designed one himself. He just sits and listens and I was trying to get lecture over- so I leave out a very important part- I step down and he steps up to say- Well my student yes he called me student - has forgot to tell you the one thing you all must remember if you really want any antenna to work.

I think he is in 80's -- Also not one Engineer I ever worked with in Commercial work had a clue about Transformer design. Because other then 3 mins in a physics text book that is all you get. Nor is much if anything taught re Analog electronics, and bear in mind we see in Analog and hear in Analog and feel in Analog. So engineers of today do get signal to some point at super low level - They cannot design how to power up or how to pick up a weak signal for receiver - all the other steps they know. Well er not really - They B no good at PCB issues which end up as Antenna problems all over the PCB for makes serious crosstalk on even a computer PCB. CPU may be speedy - contents may be real crappy down South or North from Chip

Depends how yoi ask the question, i would think. If you approached it as a reference check or something maybe. But, "hey, um, i'm wondering if matt miller ever worked there?" they wouldn't say i'd reckon. Select words wisely and they might answer. And if 40 people all call with the same question then they definately wouldn't. But also, how would one person go about substantiating an actual answer? Might be hard to get legit records, verbal might be a snap.

Said ask DEF to name the School and then call them. He came back home and read that and went APE SHIT with fear.

I can verify that a call to the school will bring mixed results. Generally the person will just ---ok if you call and say you need to talk to Matt Miller - response is usually - He no longer works here - case closed.

Few months ago I tried that and person said - You should call the Diocese office for his telephone number. Not once and its been about 4-5 calls since he was fired some time ago, all acknowledged that he once worked there. No question one more of his infamous lies is about to come back at him. Alas he will flip out on his forum and pull any content on it and declare its all Illegal - of course given he insists on keep illegal pics up of me...Why would I not be motivated for for well you know what4

I of course would not know what happened after my reply in his forum, other then I did skim a few replies that said in effect that because he was known as a infamous teller of Lies his Denial cannot be believed. Many as you may have noticed questioned if I could be telling the truth. That is when I decided to open a proxy that they have yet to block but now it is lolol

What can he do now to prove he never worked there? He could get his dad to get lawyers to write the school a letter of some sort demanding that no one say anything. But that never works because so many different people answer the phone. To boot there is a very large staff at the Diocese office and they would have to be clued in to keep quiet.

The only way he can operate on his forum while boxed in there, is to discover for himself how difficult it is to maintain free speech and credibility. He has always had a small fan base. Over time I have watched those fans abandon him. Usually for exactly what is currently going on. This go round I am not even trying to mess with him. Its best to keep him boxed up.
