It's great to hear some common sense on the subject to bring us back down to earth. It seems that this movement/social phenomenon/meme was borne out of internet culture as it provides a way to breed irrationality. It is apparently causing some of our friends here to consider harming themselves or even encourage others to.
Her comments were particularly interesting when she steered the conversation toward the regret often felt by those who chop their dick off, and I felt that making this point showed compassion towards those who have been confused by the whole campaign.
