I used to use Online Armor until recently. I've tried out a few, but online armor had a really nice live graph that would show you usage of specific processes. It's no longer supported and isn't win10 compatible so it was either pay for something or find another free one..
I installed GlassWire a couple of weeks ago and it's really nice. It has a live graph which I like and it keeps a record so I can see whats been connecting when my computer is unattended, and I can see what's been happening from traffic usage and hosts etc. The firewall itself is a pretty simple click and kill thing too.
