I've always wondered if one would be able to make me break.

It's your birthday. Someone gives you a calfskin wallet. How do you react?
You've got a little boy. He shows you his butterfly collection plus the killing jar. What do you do?

You're in a desert walking along in the sand when all of the sudden you look down, and you see a tortoise, it's crawling toward you. You reach down, you flip the tortoise over on it's back. The tortoise lays on it's back, it's belly baking in the hot sun, beating it's legs trying to turn itself over, but it can't, not without your help. But you're not helping. Why is that?

What if you met a very bad psychiatrist that got the authorities to believe you were insane and locked you up in some sort of a half empty high security mental hospital... Where he is your doctor.
Bet that's terrible enough.

Well, I've been locked up in a good amount of mental hospitals. Not fun at all, but can say I'd rather that than jail.

Why?

Multiple reasons I don't care to discuss.

Everybody has their personal limit, i guess. But why you wondering if you can be broken?

Because I am the one who would take the role of bring the torturer. I don't wish death upon those I hate, but I do wish misery. As I've always said, emotional pain is way more painful than physical.

You don't think someone could reverse that role, like forever, not temporary?

Still waiting for the day I get abducted and tortured regardless if it's for their own enjoyment or personal reasons. Eventually I'll get what I have coming. Hopefully lol.

I've been on here since the beginning. I stopped going on 4 shit years ago. The community became plagued and I knew the Internet would never be the same.

Well if all you only care about is yourself, then some one could force you to do what they want through types of violence. However they could not "break you " since that would mean you wanted to do what your kidnapper tells you to do, with a psychopath it would rather be about wanting to survive.

Alright, imagine north Koreans prisoners in one of their concentration camps. Some of those prisoners are born there, imagine how terrible is that? Some will believe what the guards tell them, they will believe that they deserve it. Now that must be the definition of being broken... To believe you deserve a North Korean prison camp.
A psychopath will not spend time listening to the guards about what is right or wrong, he doesn't believe in that kind of stuff and thus does not believe he deserves to be there... Arguably he is not broken but imprisoned.

Oh I see what you're saying. Like a psychopath will only learn to obey because of the pain, and will never really believe that they deserve to be there. Look a dog with a shock collar?

Exactly, or that's what I think (no expert). Like, you could defeat them physically but not psychologically... Don't think there ever was a psychopath with Stockholm syndrome.
