When I see a tagged dumpster or something else interesting I am thinking "this would be great as a texture in a game"

Yeah. Do you get those awkward moments when you tell people you don't have a Facebook page and they don't believe you? Instead they take it as some form of rejection as if you just told them you don't want to know them. I hate that.

I sort of get that. My (now former) classmates asked me to get Facebook a few times, but I always politely turned them down.
I can see it from their point of view, it's nice to be able to stay connected with people so easily. But I'm not sure I'm comfortable with how integrated into human society it's become. To say nothing of how it infringes on privacy, and the horror stories about employers asking to look over Facebook accounts.

Yes but not extensively. It is useful to keep in touch with old friends, and plan things with current friends.

Facebook is retarded. Ive got an account but I haven't logged in for a year or so. As far as I can tell, it is mainly used by bored stay at home mums.

My circle of friends are that age idk? The guys I know don't really post on facebook either, it's their partners and wives that do it for both of them. And they play the facebook games, and spread clickbait because it gives them feels and thats all I see.
I can't stand it. But I do have friends that tell me about shit that is posted that I miss like party invites and gatherings etc.

not really, i prefer the weird anonymity the internet affords. i'm not surprised those sites are so popular, but i can also see why they are sometimes causes of huge problems for people. i'll probably always frequent communities that are either anon or at most use a handle. sure, i've got a facebook attached to my name, but it's pretty much got some super sterilized and generic family pictures, a couple of work pictures, and a very non assuming profile that i never, ever update. it's so sterile you could perform surgery there. and it will only ever get updated if i get engaged, married, or have a kid. i'll write a brief mention of and post a picture with a wife or kids, but short of that it's more of an "i'm not dead yet" page.

Same here except I do have one Facebook account using a pseudonym. Couple3 things that demanded such in order to view stuffNow I have one email I used to create that account spammed by Facebook trying to get me to come back - bet I get 5 emails a day with junk from them
