1. Halloween parties are just an excuse for drunk people to and fuck. IN A COSTUME!!
That's literally the only added element, a moment of "haha, that's funny", and "What are you supposed to be?" maybe, before just drunks trying to fuck. You can watch horror movies, and eat candy any fucking day of the year, you know what else? You can also wear a fucking costume any time of the year, and the rest of the year people will actually pay attention to you if you wear the costume.
2. Children are pieces of shit.
Kids of all shapes, and sizes come up to your front door expecting free food, and then they judge you on the free food you give them. I don't care if you don't like jolly-ranchers, you're getting fucking jolly ranchers you leeches. I didn't spend this much time not having children to have some random child in my neighborhood judge me on my candy choosing abilities. I'm an adult, I'll give the kid a cigarette, a beer, and several years of regret.
3. Horror Movies are Garbage, and ghosts aren't real.
There have been maybe 5 decent horror movies in the past forever, and the rest are either boring yawn parades/formula movies/remakes of the 5 decent movies that were made. Even the movies that were "Ehh" get remade, to even more "Ehh" shitfests.Do you want to find out how an uninteresting paper-cut-out of a character became an uninteresting paper-cut-out of a character? Apparently a lot of people said, yes! And "So bad it's good" is a moronic idea. "Wow, this is really bad, I wonder how it got greenlit, let's watch 2 hours of it" go fuck yourself. If you think "The Human Centipede" was a good movie by any stretch of the imagination, kill yourself. And ghosts, and witches, and demons are all fake, we all know this. So, sitting around in a dark room in front of a bunch of candles, or trying to play "one man, hide and seek" should make you feel ashamed.

My point is that having a holiday for it is unnecessary. Half the fun of eating candy, and having sex is the spontaneity of it. If you have a special day devoted to then you're eliminating a key factor of the excitement. It ruins costumes, too. How can you even possibly be "totally out there" when everyone is expecting you to be "totally out there". When everyone is fabulous, nobody is.
