Topic: What are your thoughts on the way women dress today, compared to the 50's etc?

I think today most women just look sloppy.. Dressing up is still better than wearing less and showing more skin, and better than wearing trousers. Shapely dresses look extremely feminine and with a tight waist they always look classy and elegant. I think it has to do with showing shoulders and bust and less legs which I guess was the style or even social norm of an earlier time. Crinolines and corsets are awesome too, its a shame they aren't more mainstream today. I think money spent on a girls knickers is money well spent, and a boned underbust corset is the start of many great outfits.

Not all women want to dress up like a doll, and it's great that they now get to dress however they please. On the other hand, it seems many women are happy to show way too much skin which I think is a bit slutty, but whatever, more power to them I guess.
