i thought most people hated the 80s, it's probably the older generation who are embarassed by the fashion that they had then, i personally like it for its cheesiness and eccentricity, though i was born in 1992

well, i don't know generally, but many people seem to think the 80s was the worst decade for music

Entertainment (movies, music , and television) really boomed becoming more eclectic, the economy was good, everybody was high on cocaine and hairspray fumes, anon b wasn't around, we weren't embroiled in any major conflicts abroad, political correctness was still a joke, and everybody was about 23% cooler.
