I have noticed while lurking on TC and on MC that the administration and moderatorship on both sites is quite strange.
As far as this site, I do not agree with some of the arbitrary modship granted to users not able to conduct the critical thinking necessary to make correct decisions in banning and editing posts.
Also there was the whole DM debacle in which the admin of this site didn't take necessary action until things got out of hand.
Most importantly I believe it is the temper of this website's admin that takes the cake for shoddy leadership traits, as he is well known for telling users to essentially never use his site again when a more peaceful resolution could be found.
If this site is to gain a more intelligent and worthwhile userbase then it is up to the leadership to seriously consider making a few changes.

As probably the only one here with over a decade of history re DM, the necessary action, delayed as it appeared to be, was not really any different then the 50 other sites he has fucked over and ended up banned from. Toyota took the swiftest action and that was because they were fed historical data. I felt there was no need to do that here or at TC.

I can tell you that over time its a nice variety and always different and even on occasions something truly worth laffin at. Many have read about my desire for more intelligent and worthwhile discussion but a) exactly what changes do you propose, b) how do you expect those changes to bring about more intelligent and worthwhile users/content, and c) what makes you think everyone here wants the changes you want? I might agree with you, but a lot of people here will just tell you what they've told me: that it's just a chan.
I honestly don't think the administration can make any changes that will bring about the intelligent and worthwhile content that you want to see. It's an online community where all the content is user generated, and it's ultimately up to the users to make the site what they want it to be. If the moderators made a bunch of new rules and started enforcing them with an iron fist to try to force the board to change, they'd ultimately just drive most users away without attracting any new ones.

I do not on any regular basis put up images. When the topic post pics where you live hit I said to meSelf dang ok I will and did...now why would I need to do a time stamp for such a topic? So no ....nor to be honest have I noticed DM using time stamps - frankly I pass his images on by unless for example the day I looked at all Youtubes - and that was the day I shared them with the co-founder of Youtube ...has something to do with what DM did to co-founder years ago. Sorta irony ---Youtube one of the best examples of a product headed for total $$$$ failure similar to ED issue with bandwidth and no way to cover the costs. Damned if I know yet been here for a long time but Stealth nor did I ever participate in DM anything...not while he was still here and not even until it looked like he was gone for good. Would have been here sooner in the open if not for well lets just say DM had protection here after he was gone and one Mod decided he did not want anymore DM drama which I agree has gone over the top here

On that question I do know the answer - You can find a poll just a couple 3 days old about CP - People could choose it 3 ways. Should CP be legal or illegal OR OR OR Decriminalized ---Have not reviewed it recently but the last time I looked!!!! Far too many voted to Decriminalize...

One might look at what just happened when MC dropped the ban on 98% of banned people. Activity jumped up here and dropped off at TC.

IF you really knew the Decade and 1/2 history of how DM has fucked over bbs's forums and even serious only topic forums over that period, and how long it took Mods/Sysops to wise up, and compare it to TC/MC you would discover that they may have taken a little longer yet not that much longer to correct the matter. Its fucking hard when the idea is to maintain Free Speech. And for the record I have been asked by multiple Sysops to assist in keeping him out of places he was banned at, because of what he has done afterward to continue to fuck the places over.
In this instance one Mod here may have come up with the best solution I have seen in that Decade and 1/2
