> shoot up community college full of kids trying to better themselves
>promote moral relativism and multiculturalism
>viciously endorse the homosexual agenda
>mysteriously supportive of Islam while only hating on Christianity
>supports suicide bombings > applauds high divorce rate in the U.S. > can't get enough immigration
And then they turn around and call themselves red-pilled and act baffled that Christians who are traditional and right wing reject the shit they want to make us swallow. Atheism is just a concoction of the left wing, the same as feminism or multiculturalism. It comes from the same people, it promotes the same insidious agenda.

Don't blame atheists, they need to experience Him in their lives before they can believe in Him.

Are you actually religious? You flip-flopped so many times that now I don't even know where you really stand.
One moment you are burning a Dawkins book, one moment you are walking into a church and calling Christianity an "entire religion about being gay", and another moment you are professing a mild and tolerant atheism. It is very confusing!

I finally decided I could deny God no longer about a year ago. Ok, at first, I was joking about being a Christian and just pretending to be one to have a St Michael. I was a pretty staunch atheist, even going as far as to debate preachers in the street. I used to make threads here all the time here taking the mickey out of Christians and desecrating Bibles. But over the past year, when I have been troubled or in need of guidance I have prayed to God. At first, when He answered my prayers, I just brushed it off as a fluke and kept denying God and going back to my atheistic views and ways. But when I needed help I would pray and God answered. I thought it would be pretty hypocritical to pray to God and read the Bible and still call myself an atheist. I'll admit that I am giggling sometimes when I tell people to convert and stuff, It's your choice and I know some posts on the internet won't change your beliefs. But yes, I am a Christian now. Not strongly Christian, but I believe in God and Jesus.

So you're saying you prayed, good things happened afterwards/you felt a sense of comfort, and you took that as proof enough?
How do you feel about the inconsistencies in the Bible, then? Things like a genetically diverse human race originating from just two people? Or the Bible once referring to dead people "appearing unto many" in Jerusalem, even though no other historical sources support this?
I myself just can't overlook inconsistencies like that, to say nothing of the wider logical and moral pitfalls that religion presents.

I don't take the Old Testament as canon. I subscribe more to a Gnostic view of Christianity. I believe the God of the Old and New Testament are two different beings. The God that Jesus teaches about is a kind and loving God, whereas the Old Testament God is vengeful and angry (such as killing children with a bear when they laughed at a bald man or how envy is a sin yet one of the 10 commandments is about how you shouldn't worship any other gods but Yahweh).

So... Christianity got it wrong, then? The Old Testament was a mistake? Even the important stuff, like the world and mankind being created? That seems like a lot to omit.
But okay, let's say you're correct. Even then, what about the dickish stuff Jesus does, like cursing a fig tree for no reason? Or how there's not really any compelling historical evidence afor Jesus and his life?
Any way you slice it, there's a lot of holes in Christianity's logic.

Good non-sequitur. You prefer not to think too hard about if God exists, then?

Haha, okay, buddy. I suppose that is as compelling evidence as anything else.
It's fine if you prefer not to debate about it, then. We shan't speak of it again.

One theory is God approves of Atheism.
Theory goes on to say atheists are made in God image. The bible says this is so.

Sorry if I came across as impudent, that wasn't aimed at you, it's just when you said 'debate' it reminded me of that. I was once an atheist so I can understand what you're saying and why you disbelieve.

Ok, we shall agree to disagree for now, but if you want to debate, we can have a special debate topics on Sundays. That is usually when atheists are most euphoric.
