So I got the job I applied for even tho not as a full time employee but as a honorary worker (freelancer or however it's translated properly).
I must admit, while the few hours of shittalking I did for them were fun, and the extra money I got is awesome, I just lack the time to spend it. And back in the days, when I had nothing but time on my hands, money was nowhere...
So yeah, the old saying that time's money...well, fuck it up your ass... :)

This is exactly the case with most occupations that don't involve sitting around on a yacht sipping wine and making money off of dead orphans in China.
My software testing jobs are great, but the weekends feel too short, and we have to work a lot of overtime so sometimes there are no weekends.
But now that I'm in between jobs, there is nothing to do because I have no money, which means I have no smokes or gas or restaurant food...

Wait one damn minute!!!! You now have free time but not the free money to enjoy it????
No clue where you live. How about getting high for free as well as very healthy????
Bet you could audit a few classes at local institutions for just the fun of it.
Bet you could add some expertise and even use books or on line for the added education to make you more valuable.
IF you live in or near a large city? Bet you can find all kinds of fun for free. Even hook up with some loving. I can give you a slew of ideas on spending free time at little or no cost. For sure the getting HIGH for free is someThing anyone can and should do. AND THE MINUTE I get this one last client off my fucking back I will get HIGH

Here is the real and most honest deal ever. You have viewed me in pics. With all the proof of dancing and all the surfing I do daily in my Ocean Blue, I ended up gaining 12 fucking pounds and this is the 2nd time this has happened - just too much party time. First time to get rid of 12 was NOT fun. Mean hard work. Since that time I added running to my daily diet. HowEver the 12 pounds was still a gain even with all I do, including a lot of Down Hill Skiing which is the most calories one can burn in one hour me thinks?
I ran 5 miles 4 days a week for Cardio and never looked forward to it, or rarely - Did it for reasons to be explained later.
So to explain the free HIGH I decided to modify how I eat again with small changes, and added 5 miles a day to the run and made it 7days/week no fail now about 6 months??? Would have to look that up. That added 12 pounds this tyme around was the FUCKING BEST THING EVER!!!! Adding 5 miles meant a nicer route, with what I call far more EyE candy for view on my runs. The extra 5 turns out to give me a daily
JOLT OF ENDORPHIN'S
Lasts for many hours...Similar to Skiing where at end of day accidents are common from the High. Next day it drives me crazy wanting my next FIX. Honest its the damn best discovery I have made, and its free except for the shoes I wear out often and many go running on beach shoe free. I have but its hell that way on occasions and risky re JellyFish on my beach. 12 now down to 3.5 and I am cheating a lot on food so it goes down more S L O W L Y

I live in the ghetto you see, and the longer I stay out the more chance I have of getting stabbed. I'd go bicycling but I can't fucking afford one.

Bet you have stairs you can go up and down on. Climbing stairs rocks for max heart rate. Boring but with ear buds and good tunes, a good way to go @previous (totoforhire !!Phkn/3Gic)
Have a bit of scoliosis meself, if not for a great back doc and all those exercises I would be a basket case. Just do the best you can with what you have. Many I know are in ok shape and live as if bedridden.

OP, your post proves that time IS money. When you weren't turning most of your time into money, you had a lot of time on your hands. Now that you're using your time to make money, you have less free time. It makes perfect sense to me.
Think about it like this: What if there was someone who had two weeks for every one week you had? Let's say that this person could think, work, and move twice as fast as everyone else, but to this person, everything around him seemed to just be slower. Think about how much more this person could accomplish. This person would most likely get paid a lot more than other people and still have time left over. Make sense?
Time is money.

time can be money, if you look at it in a cruel perspective. Watch coal, and see what i mean.
