Thanks, I had a GIMP draw it for me. Oh hey, could I get a secret from you? I was fucking around with the partition scheme on my HD and had to move my MC share folder. Apparently there is no easy way to just change the target directory.

Mostly an experiment to see if it raises any $$$ whatsoever. They're primarily meant to target one-shot visitors who wind up here through google, so I've tried to make them as least invasive if possible. I may also just wind up removing them entirely, or add a bunch of "joke" ones. If you have any comments about them, I would gladly hear them.

The counter is currently in the visitor's session data and not actually tied to their UID as such, and starts at 0, which also triggers an ad to show (%10==0). I might change this somewhat, but this was hacked together last night and I didn't feel like changing the database schema at the time.

I tend to block them on principal. I might be a bit of an outlier, though, since I'm very particular about this sort of thing.
But I thought the ads themselves were very unobtrusive and sedated. So, as ads go, they were pretty good.

I could add a switch to the dashboard to just permanently disable all advertising for your UID, if that would make you happy.
