yes! but i started doing it again because i got tired of pairing them. i just used will power and made myself quit. i had beautifully manicured fingers for about 5 or 6 months. looked like lady fingers they were so clean and neat. but i got tired of it and made a choice, i bit them all off down to the quick (like i have done for ever) and not only was it very satisfying it also felt better to type, write, and use tools. now they look like gnarly man fingers with rough edges and uneven lengths. they're great.

I only bite them to trim them when needed, not as a habit of biting. If one is too long I bite it off, I guess. But I have to cut my thumb nails with clippers
