HELL NO That is ancient old school view of Christmas. Currently its all about the Lights and Majesty of Great foods n drinks and Lights - Christmas parties - Buying and receiving gifts.
The Christmas Lights need be mentioned - Plum pudding and even a Rum Brandy infused Fruitcake - Not so much so good types of Fruitcake can be made oh OH so much more better when infused over n over with Rum and Brandy and aged for about 3 weeks - Adding more Rum n Brandy every few days till the cake will take no more.
