if i recall correctly you should always switch. this was used as an example of game theory along with stuff like the prisoner's dilemma. it's just a matter of probability. it seems like the choice ends up being 50/50, but it's not. i forgot how it all plays out, but i believe the optimal strat is to always switch your choice.
