I strongly support this. Headlines like "why" are not appropriate headlines. I talked about this in another thread, where I said if I were a mod I would edit headlines more than anything else.

If the topic isn't a shitpost and the only problem is a crappy headline, why would you lock or delete it?
If it's a good topic, it will still get attention; if it's shitty, it won't.
I don't think a sage feature would work too well on minichan, saging wouldn't affect much at all... the board is not fast enough for that.

That's exactly why it would work well. The sage feature doesn't work well on boards that move too fast because the thread gets bumped anyway.

Alright, but that's not the only reason i don't think it would work well.
Bumping isn't the main mechinism for seeing if there are new posts on minichan. On the topics page, you would still see that there are new posts in the topic.
If you take that away as well, then you would have to manually check topics to see if there are new posts.
If r04r thinks a sage feature is a good idea and can think of a way to make it work, then sure, why not... but since we don't currently have a sage feature, I don't think it's in the cards, man.

Most people check almost every single topic anyway because that's just the way the userbase works. It's not like it really matters one way or the other. It's not like you could sage-bomb a thread out of existence anyway if you're a non-mod so what's the point?
