I was told marriage was suppose to be something where if two people who love each other very much decide to spend their lives together and have a ceremony that recognizes their union.
Yet most heterosexual marriages end up being miserable for both parties and usually end in divorce.
Homosexual marriages may have the same result, but both parties seem genuinely happy with each other and love each other.
So how the fuck are they ruining the sanctity of marriage when they are seem to be the embodiment of what marriage is suppose to be?
Have there been any divorce studies done for same-sex marriages? If there ever came a time when divorce rates for homosexuals equaled that of heterosexuals. Would this be a sign that marriage is an outdated custom?

people end up miserable after getting married because they started puberty late and didn't realize that "love" is just a childish feeling that doesn't last when you grow up
