Attorney fyne print is bad enough in contracts.
Kerning just makes it possible to jam more fine print into a contract.
That said I admit to use of Kerning in the past and other tricks to jam more on2 a page.
Outside editor of course paid to make it more better English.

This is so great. I can now use MORE character spacing without getting that odd detached look between certain letters. I had really wanted to get up to .25 in character spacing but I couldn't do that before. Man, life is just so great now. Microsoft++.

@previous (Meowth)By default in Word, the spacing between every letter will be the same. But there are a lot of letter combinations, like the "Y" and "o" here, where the spacing should be reduced because of the shape of the letters. Kerning adjusts the space between letters to look more even and natural based on the letter combinations.

uh, well... i don't know about all that. uh, i mean i definitely know people that are way more promiscuous than me, my older brother for one. he's had more partners than i've had sex, i mean he's got me by a good 10 years and i bet he's in triple digits easy. eeeeeasy. but he's got the standards of an alley cat and cheats. but yeah, i do have to estimate my number of partners. i'm not exactly proud of it, since i kinda fell ass backwards into it, i would have never planned it. but it happened.
