Ugh, either make them fully like men or don't make them like men at all. I don't want to deal with bullshit feeling sorry for myself drinking wine alone stupid shit.
Ugh. Drink fucking shots with your partner and fuck some stupid hunk. Act like a dude fully if you want me to buy your tough. I can't hold my disbelief if you are falling apart. That's what I expect of women (because of cultural norms, not my fault). If you want me to change my opinion of women through media make more characters like that bad ass agent on Sons of Anarchy who pops her own piece of tail to further her career. That's a real strong female character. Never saw her whining into a wine glass. You can't be all jack Bauer one minute then "oh I'm barely holding it together" the next. Stop, Hollywood. You can't do that. Have your characters be consistent. They can be flawed, tortured, but seriously, you can't go jack Bauer to sad gal. It's inconsistent and makes the character look weak.
Also, if you are going to have a female FBI interrogator (which is a deliberate choice given cultural norms), don't make her a jasmine Disney princess look a-like. Jesus Christ. Is it so hard to hire a woman who looks like a badass? They exist. Just need someone slightly overweight and not attractive. Disney Princess Jasmine would not have found the chemist. It's ok to have strong female characters, but if you expect me to buy them, you can't cast petite hotties as hard asses. It's a joke. Look at fear the walking dead. Moms a badass, and she looks the part and she's still attractive in a conventional sense even (if you are into the whole "fully developed" thing).
Otherwise, I think I'm going to like blacklist. I assume these issues only exist in the pilot.

Second episode has them letting the dude who's a criminal they won't give immunity go to a different country. This show is extremely unbelievable. Some parts of this show are good, but there is a lot of stuff that's too hard to accept. Just unnecessary shit.
